Our waterjet uses a mixture of high-pressure water and garnet abrasives. It can cut nearly any type of material, such as metal, wood, glass, and plastic up to 5” thick with ±0.003" linear position accuracy.
Large scale metal projects are no problem! We have a brand new OMAX Maxiem 2040 Waterjet with a 13' 10"x6' 7 cutting area. This enables us to utilize full sheets of material without waste.
Unlike laser, waterjet cutting results in a smoother finish, eliminating a lot of labor in secondary finishing. Parts are strategically nested to reduce material costs. See our waterjet cutting in action.
Waterjets are capable of cutting detailed and complex designs. Shown here is metal artwork for the San Ysidro Library. See more of our work in the waterjet cutting photo gallery.
Whether decorative, a prototype, or a production run, we can do the job quickly and at competitive pricing. We're conveniently located in El Cajon, San Diego, CA.
